Over the last five years, SEED Group has been providing freelance Swahili-English-Swahili translator and interpreter services throughout the City of Chicago.
In 2007, the growing demand for these services compelled our company to establish an African Language Bureau.
Since then, the bureau primarily offers extensive Swahili translations and interpreter services. Also, we provides referrals for other East African languages.
The bureau is in the process of adding on a Swahili Learning Program for customers seeking basic communication skills for leisure travel and or business purposes.
Presently, our customers or sub-contractors include:

- Hospitals
- Civic groups
- Businesses
- Law courts
- other translation agencies
Over the next two years, the bureau is also planning to recruit US-based African linguistic experts competent in providing language services in other East African languages. The bureau operates as a division of SEED Group, Inc.

Mileage rate: 0.55cts/mile (varies)
